Honestly it’s in the name; a Gem of a restaurant tucked away amongst the other shops. My partner and I haven’t had much Filipino food before but this has certainly set a lofty standard. We had Lumpia, Gem’s Special Rice and some Pork Skewers. All were served promptly and delicious. I quote my partner in saying that the skewers were “succulent” and honestly so tender and flavoursome. If I’m up this way again I’ll be sure to stop in again!
