we didn’t have a booking but the staff were so kind and accomodating. we ordered the garlic foccacia, margherita, peppino, beef ragu gnocchi and seafood spaghetti. all were to die for and so so good this place is such a gem. the tiramisu is great as well!!

Peppino was too soggy but tasted ok. Felt like I was drinking tomato soup on top of pizza base. Carbonara was very creamy and yummy, bit over cooked tho because residual heat scrambled the eggs. Tiramisu was actually good, not as frozen as other places so it wasn’t a soggy mess. Place is a bit small and old but food is good

We were craving for a real homemade Italian food and discovered this hidden GEM Gemma Simply Italian which really didn’t disappoint us. We were warmly welcomed by the host and allocated a nice large table overlooking the window. The food was authentic and delicious with good portion size. We tried Fromaggi Board and Buffalo Caprese for entree, both were full of flavours and well presented. Our main courses Ragina Bianca, Penne Vodka e Scampi and Pappardelle Ragu Bolonese were just spot on when it’s came to authenticity, flavours, temperature of the food and portion size. Pizza was thin crust and wood fired topped with fresh ingredients, Penne and Pappardelle were cooked Al Dante, Ragu just bursted with flavours , Prawns were large and sauce were delicious. We finally ended our meal with Tiramisu and I must admit that the this was the one of the best Tiramisu we had after visiting Italy.

Hands down, best homemade gnocchi I’ve ever had. Simple yet authentic flavour, service was exceptional and our waiter Ben had a very good knowledge about the wines and his customer service was exceptionally good. What can I say, had a very pleasant experience and definitely going back for that gnocchi.

Got ravioli ai funghi, was quite undercooked. I’d recommend getting the pizzas over the pasta, they looked quite good. The mixed bruschetta for entree was really nice . Nice friendly staff

I went to Gemma Simply Italian with friends as we were all craving some good dessert to end the night. The panna cotta and tiramisu were out of this world (the panna cotta was gone before I had the chance to take a photo!). Overall we had a really great experience with the friendliest staff, wholesome vibes and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back to have their famous pizza and gnocchi soon!
