Been in few times under new management. Use to be my go to place but not any more. Quality of food has drop substantially. Service is non existent and wait time are just as bad even with pre order via phone. Sad honestly, was one of the few good fish and chip that was affordable in ispwich.

This used to be a good takeaway place. However I recommend you find somewhere else to buy your lunch, especially if you would like to have a lunch break. First time back since new management. Ordered fish and chips and a hamburger over phone. Paid and waited for a few minutes. Gave me box with fish and chips. I asked about the hamburger. It had just been put on to cook. At home the fish was dry, even the cat walked away. The chips looked like they had been cooked in old oil, not crispy. The hamburger roll had been frozen and thawed, as it fell apart when being bitten into. Finished up eating it with knife and fork on a plate.

Recently moved here to the area and I have been calling and ordering a plain hamburger. Every time it has been a older lady and Asian man and they have made me awesome burgers every time however I stopped in there a few days ago and was served by some younger girl, I thought she had terrible breath and didn’t say anything at the counter, it wasn’t till I got in the car I realised it was the burger she had made for me, it was a foul smell. There was no way I was eating that burger even my dog didn’t want it!!! Safe to say I’ll never return to this store again after this…

Been to a few fish and chip shops around, ask for different size chips some at which wasn’t pleasant with there customer service and made me feel little for even asking. Last night I told the lovely lady that it was my second time there and immediately pulled out her menu. The customer service was amazing, the cook is great always happy and asks how you are.ordered a seafood basket for 1 for myself and $2 chips with 2 potato scollops and a small gravy, considering how busy they where was still fast service nice and fresh, hot plenty of salt and omg the crunch, hands down the best fish and chip shop so far, thank you guys.
