Firedoor offers an absolutely incredible and unique culinary experience. To say that I ate the best steak of my life here is an understatement as it was so much more than that. The dry aged steak is imbued with so much flavour it’s almost overwhelming to the senses. Every dish is prepared with such care that it causes you to experience flavours you never thought possible in a blend of complex simplicity that is uniquely Firedoor.

I never give any place in the world a 5 star review because I never believed anything could be perfect. I have never been happier to be proven wrong.

It was a great experience and time, especially with the wines, that was delivered. Service was was to a quality standard and most of the food was spectacular.

We had a fantastic time and Lennox was very friendly and polite (considering my fanboying). The 270 day dry aged steak was truly outstanding! Have never tasted a steak as delicious as that and probably won’t again! The artichoke was the absolute surprise of the night- almost meaty. Lived up to expectations (which were super high).

Firedoor is a culinary gem. The restaurant’s focus on wood-fired cooking creates a unique and delicious dining experience. The flavors of the dishes are elevated by the smoky aroma and expertly executed techniques. The menu showcases a variety of locally sourced ingredients, resulting in dishes that are both creative and satisfying. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal.

Honest review. For its price point, the food was sub par. I left feeling unsatiated due to its portion. Some of the food was served luke warm. The cod was good and the desserts were a surprise, however the rest of the food was quite a letdown.

Such a long wait but finally managed to eat here! Was really excited to dine here. Firstly food was amazing overall, dessert was my least fav dish. The artichoke dish was a surprise stand out for me. However where the let down was for me was the service… fine dining food but not the service to match. Had an 8.30pm seating… one hour before first entree, then another 45 mins for the second entree. We were starving! The whole 5 courses took 3 hours. Eating the delicious wagyu at 11pm was far too late. Service should have been a little quicker. Also had different waiters throughout the night, no wine help….
