At least once a week I find myself craving a butter chicken, tikka masala, or chicken madras from Family Curry Hub! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcomed whether you’re eating in or taking away. When I first moved to Lennox Head I tried every butter chicken in the area and Family Curry Hub’s was undoubtedly the best!

Thanks so much for the delicious feast and excellent service last night at Family Curry Hub in Lennox Head. One of the best meals we’ve had this holiday – even better than our first visit last year. Everything was great – the malai chicken tikka, lamb korma and prawn madras were particular standouts. We’ll be back and highly recommend to others.

We bought a dessert to share, the mango ice cream. When it came, instead of a normal scoop of ice cream we got a tablespoon of ice cream with some sauce on it. We could not believe it, it was literally nothing. The owner asked if we wanted a knife or a spoon to eat it with. We then asked for a spoon and a reasonable amount to be added but the owner just shrugged his shoulders saying that’s how much comes and walked away not at all concerned. We tried again when he bought a cardboard paper spoon that broke on the rock hard piece that was obviously cut from a bigger piece, but I put it onto the takeaway spoon and in one small mouthful it was gone. If we had gone to the gelato place down the road we would have been able to share a cone of exquisite smooth gelato. Felt very disappointed and ripped off. It should not be that it’s always about the poor business owner.

Absolutely delicious Indian feast! Curries obviously made from scratch with a lot of love, naans delicious, and the tandoori chicken is succulent and flavoursome! Best Indian in the area! We’ll always be back!

Great curries full of authentic flavours. The kangaroo vindaloo was delicious as were our other curries. The naan beads are very good but maybe keep them separate when customers order 3 different breads. Highly recommended
