You go to ESP for the excellent coffee and a bit of a show. The staff, including the owner, are really nice, friendly people but quite loud. Can seem a bit off hand, but they’re not, they’re good. Sit back and enjoy the coffee (made with care!!) and don’t take the performance too seriously.

Consistently excellent coffee and very friendly / fast service. I recently moved to the area and was pleasantly surprised to find a little cafe whose coffee rivals that of any of Melbourne’s hipster cafe coffees. I go here most days now and haven’t had a bad coffee yet. Highly recommend.
