When you’re looking for a nice dinner for two, the last thing you should have to deal with is uncomfortable conversations between staff. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened at Elements Restuarant – upon ordering our meal and drinks through an app, not table service, we overheard staff discussing their weekend plans in a way that was undeniably inappropriate. On top of that, we ordered and served a side of vegetables consisting only of one floret of broccoli, cauliflower and two sticks of carrot – for $8! For 2 Chicken Parmas, a side of vegetables, and 2 soft drinks costing $100, we expected more than this. All in all, it was not a great experience and definitely not worth the money.

6pp table on a Wednesday night and we waited 1.5h for our meals (mains only, no entree). Ribs were frozen inside, briskets were dry like cardboard, dry lamb shank with no flavour, dry pork belly with burnt skin, too sweet of a gumbo with tiny shrimps, chips were very soggy. Did not justify the price ($30-40 per meal) with the service and taste of food, not to mention the absence of any form of plating or presentation! We also watched a waiter dropped a clean knife onto the floor and then proceeded to “discreetly” put it back with the other clean knives. As customers, we would rather not imagine that the knives we used could be one of those. Certainly hope it was a one-off mistake and not a habit.

The playground is the only good thing about this venue.

Very nice place for dinner with a large fun play gym for the kids, tables within viewing distance of the kids playing as well. Hubby loved cooking his steak on a hot stone & it was delicious. I had fish, mash potatoes & veg, it was divine. The kids loved there dinners as well. It was pricey but was great quality & a lovely family night out.

Only go if you have nothing better to do than sit and watch your kids play. The indoor playground entertainment for the kids is the only good thing about it. The ordering on the app is clunky at best with no options to edit or change meals or meal sizes. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday night and had to wait 45 minutes just for drinks to arrive, more than an hour for the average overpriced food. Poor management, limited staff were put on so the two who were run off their feet, fixing app problems, fixing orders, and running meals and drinks to tables. Not enough staff for the amount of people booked in. Pity when you don’t go out often and then have to deal with that.

Had kids pasta. Was mainly meat, not really any pasta in it lucky if there was 2 mouth fills. 3 bits of cheese on top that’s all you get,

We like it here, food is good and the kids love it here too. There is a robot waiter and a play area also.

$34 for a chilli Parma that was dry and paper thin, the crumb was thicker than the chicken. Had 4 jalapeños on it, next to no sauce. Should’ve listened to the other reviews. Wouldn’t return even if they offered me a replacement meal. My partners was the same. Other people at our table also mentioned how dry there chicken was.

First the good: We were greeted at the door by friendly staff, there is a great indoor playground which kept the kids occupied & the drinks were served cold. The bad: When the meat came out the first thing I noticed was the portion size, small for almost $40. I smoke meats myself using hickory, mesquite, apple, cherry as well as Australian timber & know what a smoked brisket tastes like. This one was very soft, so I don’t doubt that it was slow cooked in an oven for many hours (claimed 15hrs) but there was no bark and absolutely no smoke ring present at all, the taste was bland and lacked any indication that the meat had been smoked. I asked the waitress “just wondering, where is your smoker?” And she didn’t seem to know. We also ordered the smoked lamb which had the same bland taste, zero indication that it had been smoked at all with no bark & no smoke ring in the meat either. I really hope you guys can improve on your smoked meats. When I heard there was a restaurant locally smoking meats I was so excited to come & try
