I could not fault the food or service. I was pretty surprised with the good quality of both meals, I’d recommend the crispy skinned Atlantic Salmon, it was a Japanese fusion dish and very tasty! Some earlier reviews were so so on this place but I really think you should try it for yourself. It’s local and offering something unique to the area.

Coffee drinkers and decaf experts! You must try the coffee in here! Wow beautifully brewed and to perfection, high quality beans, right order, top oat milk brands… little pastries on the side and you set for the whole day. Support locals and what a friendly, passionate and knowledgeable staff! Always smile on their faces. Would definitely come back for more.

The service is awful, the staff weren’t friendly in the slightest and spoke super rudely to me, especially the “chef”. The place is old school in decor & has an over 65s vibe anyway. There are nicer cafes with a lovely vibe around the corner. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere in East Gosford. These guys are bringing down the average.

I had the lovely salmon with avocado on sourdough- best salmon I have had in forever, my hubby had a very delicious mushroom omelette & our son had a very tasty scrambled eggs- an awesome brunch!! Coffee was delicious and the staff were attentive & friendly we will certainly be heading back & I believe they will be opening for dinners soon

Had a lovely Father’s Day lunch in the sun. The staff were very attentive and service excellent. The wine and food were of a great standard. We treated ourselves to oysters which were delicious! The staff and owners also spoilt our little dog by bringing out a Puppuccino which he loved!!

After moving to East Gosford a few months ago I had to try out all the local cafes for my daily fix of coffee. This place has never failed to serve me a good coffee. Had many delicious, decent sized portioned breakfasts and lunchs here. Friendly, chatty staff that are always very welcoming to us and our dog. He is also very fond of this cafe after serving him a puppychino. They are open late and serve dinner and drinks which we are yet to experience but seeing the menu many times im sure will very much satisfy and will definitely be trying out soon. Highly recommend!

First time there – excellent coffee! Loved the prawn roll & chips – went down very easily with a Block ‘n Tackle English Bitter. Staff are wonderful as well. Will be back asap.

First time visit, kitchen closing in 5 sunday arvo. Pleasant efficient service. Four fish cocktails and a chips, takeway – $20. Thought it was pricey but maybe they’re big cocktails…..being a fish cafe…. Cocktails were very small, heavy batter and little fish. Chips were way over-salted and maybe reheats. Sorry guys, but when you charge those sort of prices I expect a lot better. Ok, it was the end of the day (2pm) but that’s no excuse. No idea how you cost the items but you are way over your competitors, so will be be going back to them, not you….sorry.
