I don’t know how this is rated 4 stars, ordered the Tom Yum soup and this is what I get. I don’t know how this is okay to serve. Paid for boiling water, I got a refund in the end but would have much rather enjoyed my meal. Don’t recommend . Even their other portions are small, wontons were slightly burnt.

We were told it would be 15 mins it took 30 mins we got home and the fried rice is so bland the Singapore noodles bland prawn toast just tasted like oil so disappointed spent $45 and the dogs are getting it

Used to love coming here. However the most recent experience was not so good. Ordered the prawn won ton noodle, and the broth was very bland, as if they didn’t check the seasoning. The lemon chicken sauce was watery and very bitter. The staff could not be bothered clearing tables as we wanted to sit away from the front door.

Ordered delivery with a 30 min wait. Ended up being 90 minutes. Mongolian beef was disgusting, tasted like soft powdery slop. Rice was under cooked. Not happy

This place was very good when the dad and his son would serve. However, tonight they had some other man serve and he was very rude. We waited 30 mins to get the young man’s attention just to order. We ordered the food then 1 hr went past literally no one in the restaurant but us just to ask how long the food was going to be politely. Another family walks in European and they order. Within 10 mins all there dishes arrive. We ask where our 3 dishes are and asked to cancel since it’s been too long. The man then brings out 1 dish then 30 mins later he brings out the the other two dishes. To top it off I go to pay and he enters $580 on the eftpos machines with a smirk on his face. Lucky I noticed and asked to speak to the dad or the son that usually works here. Thank goodness the owners son came out and apologised for both issues as he knows we were regulars. So disappointing! Get rid of the new guy! He doesn’t know service!

I am a Chinese who loves and knows dumplings. I like the dumpling and the seating at DUMPLING de CHEF. If only regional areas have more Chinese restaurants as good as this one, then people in regional area would understand, accept and enjoy Chinese culture much more quickly.

Gave me somebody else’s order. Had to wait over 20 minutes for mine even though I’d ordered it for a specific time. I finally get my order and one of the dishes is wrong. A long line of people waiting inside for their late takeaway orders absolutely kills the dining experience at this place. Sadly it has become a real shambles.
