Great ambiance to start with! Good customer service as well. They have a bell on the table to call the waiter whenever you want. So four stars for that. As vegetarians we didn’t enjoy the food as much. We tried crispy balls/ dahi puri without any dahi/yogurt. It was very dry. Had dosa which wasn’t properly done either. Sambhar was good though. Haven’t tried any meat dishes so can’t comment upon that.

The first time we tried here. Good atmosphere. Service is good. But idly we ordered was not good. Feels not fresh, looks it made previous day, hard not soft what normal idly has to be. Angry Indian cocktail is watery taste not good. The rest of the food is good. Overall experience is good.

Good food and amazing ambience. We had the Chicken Lollypop in starters and the Fiery Bum lamb (which was really spicy but tasty) for the mains. The drink menu is quite reasonable too. It can get busy over the weekend. The only negative I could think of is the service. They tend to get over eager sometimes and more than one person will keep on asking the same question. Overall a very good dining experience for Indian food in Adelaide and quite reasonably priced too.

Drunken Monkey has extended opening hours which made it a perfect option after to returning to Adelaide on an evening flight. It was nice to sit on the street and enjoy the balmy evening air. The tapas is cheap and we filled up on four dishes shared between two of us

You know you’re going to get a very good feed when the restaurant is full of locals from the same culture !!! This place was exceptional. We were totally stuffed silly after the feed me menu. Love the food here. Traditional Indian with a modern twist. Service was very good. You’ve got a button at your table to call for service so you’re not waiting to catch the eyes of the wait staff. Excellent idea.
