I would rate this place 0stars . My family was at the Northlakes store this afternoon and my son wanted a tray of those $10.00 mini donuts and a milk shake . My son tripped when he walked to my partner sitting down at the table and spilled the donuts … I paintently waited for the staff member to finish serving the other customers and then I said that my son had tripped and could if possible get a replacement … now I know my son tripped (7yrs old )- but the server said I can’t get another one for free I will have to pay full price .. and it wasn’t her problem that my son tripped. I said excuse me ? I said I didn’t imply it wasn’t her fault and I was very upset when she said that to me – she didn’t even seem concerned and didn’t ask how my son was …. I know full well that stock gets thrown out if not sold and it was late in the afternoon . The way she spoke to me upsetted me so much — I work on phone customer services and did 10 yrs face to face so I know how challenging customers can be but the way she spoke to me was rude and uncalled for . A customer who was waiting after me approached me with a tray .. she brought it for my son …. She didn’t have too she did tho and I feel terrible she did that . Most certainly will be paying it forward …no empathy or understanding from this serve at the store …. Made the afternoon bitter sweet . All of this for measley $10.00… and the milk shake – was just milk with malt in it … training or Google it may be required . I’m so upset by the way we were treated .

Ordered a chai latte, it was bland and might as well have ordered hot milk with water it was tasteless, I went to return it the lady just gave me this look like what am I talking about! Not even a sorry! Not buying a latte from there again, maybe a cinnamon scroll if their lucky to receive my services. They were quick to pull out the eftpos card machine for payment though

Had lunch at Westfield today and just prior to leaving stopped to buy some donuts. I was served by a young woman (don’t know her name), I was so impressed with her exceptional customer service skills. She was pleasant, polite and extremely warm in her interactions. I would like to think all DK staff were as exceptional as this young woman. I would have no qualms in recommending DK to anyone. In particular, the young woman who served me. I think you know who you are. Thank you.

Extremely rude staff. One staff member was busy with a customer but they only one small tray of donuts left to sell at 3 for $9 and other items on the top of the counter. I was happy to wait till the customer in front of us moved so we could see what was on offer as I let my daughter pick a donut. The other staff member busy with the customer called out for her other team member to help serve us. He didn’t look very happy as if we interrupted him cleaning out the back as if that was more important. He proceeded to ask us what we would like and I politely said we were happy to wait as we wanted to see what donuts were on offer as the customer in front of us was blocking our view. He got impatient and stood there waiting for some time. The other customer left and we went up to the window and as we were looking the staff member decided it was a good time to rearrange the donuts making it hard for us to pick one. He then asked us again which one we wanted but had the tray out and couldn’t see it. I asked him if he could put the tray back in the window for my daughter to see and he took the tray and put it on the top of the counter where she couldn’t see at all. I asked him again if he could put it back so my daughter could see and pick something and he shoved the tray back in the window rudely. We picked our donuts and left. That will be the last time we visit this store. Always a bad experience and lacking in customer service.

Ordered a chai latte. Chai tasted like it was mixed with half water and milk, very weak and bland, and chai powder wasn’t mixed in properly so the latte still had clumps of powder.

This is a very modest little outlet with a fairly limited range of options. (Donuts feature prominently, of course!). However, although it can’t compete with the other North Lakes eateries in terms of menu choice, it’s one of the best in terms of customer service. Not too much of a wait, even when very busy, and always service with a smile.

My Daughter Brought a Doughnut Today 25/1/18 took a bite and there was a cockroach in it took she took it back and all they said was, sorry and offered her her $3.00 back will be taking this further very disgusted. Had to post 1 star for it to let me post but give them no Stars and will never go there again
