Overall a nice and more quiet dome. Size is good with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of larger tables for bigger groups (we were a group of 5). Food was cooked well and wait time wasn’t to bad. We did have to confirm a drink and meal were correct for dietary requirements and the server wasn’t sure but easily fixed. Tables tidy and cleaned, music more modern and not to loud. Indoor appearance clean and tidy not to old or uncared for. Recommend.

Extensive, reliable menu, something for everyone. Good environment. Lots of seating options, indoor and out (dog friendly). Tables are all nicely spaced out. Easy access. Plenty of parking. One of the better Dome cafes. No credit card surcharge.

Not today Dome! One problem after another…. first order everything stone cold. Their ‘perfectly poached eggs were cold and hard. Sent back… another 15 minutes and the new one arrives. Eggs better, but the new ‘smoky beans & eggs” made us laugh. Literally 3 baked beans!!! Seriously. Bread dumped into the mix so it was soggy wet. Butter like oil as it was left under the now microwaved plate of non existent beans So said just exchange for a BLT at least they are usually good here… so she comes back with a receipt and change. Count the change given! Have to laugh. As we sat down a waitress spilled water or a drink all over the floor. She walked on by and left it. Another waitress walks over it… and neither did anything. Third waiter, young man saw us watch him walk over it and then goes and gets a ‘trip hazard sign… we commended him for paying attention.

I was at the cafe on Saturday morning 22 July and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a vienna coffee and a cinnamon bun. I was advised there would be a 15 minute wait for the coffee so I asked for the cinnamon bun to come out at the same time as the coffee and I was told by the cashier that it would be fine. Two minutes later Kerry came out with the cinnamon bun and I explained I had asked for the coffee and bun to be served together. Kerry said it’s not possible.

Fish and chips were average. The salad was less than average. Needed a hacksaw to cut through the tomato skins they were that tough. I won’t be going back as there are plenty of better and cheaper places
