Food was awesome and portion size is big, onion rings are the best we’ve ever had. Catch of the day was monk fish and it was so good! Service is attentive but not too much. Will definitely come back here again! We thought it’s even worth the drive from Sydney to just eat here.

It is pretty rare that I give 5 stars for any single category (there’s usually something that could be improved even just a little) but to give 3 x 5 stars is unheard of. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and authentic, the staff were fantastic, and the steaks were to die for! Even the local brewed IPA was excellent… I will be back!

Great staff, great food and great drinks. The service was like what you would get in the states after being to the states seeing how they do service over there Australia is behind on how they serve there customers in some places but your team nails it. The food had good flavour and the drinks were balanced well and taste great. Will definitely be returning here if I’m stopping in Bathurst again!! Thankyou

We had an outstanding experience here at Dogwood. Not only do they boast one of the best prime ribs I’ve had (either here in Australia or North America!) their desserts were well worth the removal of a belt. If that wasn’t enough we were absolutely blown away by Evan’s hospitality. Not only was he charming and attentive throughout the meal, he exhibited extraordinary diligence with my son’s (many) allergies. I can’t recommend this place enough, as I watched him and his team work the dining room I can really see they pride themselves on customer service and enjoyment.

The waiters were delightful to speak to. The service was fast and the food was of great quality. Try the steaks! They have good portions and the seasoning was handpicked. They explained the cocktail and they know what they are talking about. I give them 5 stars and rarely do I do this but one waitress was so helpful & chatted with us, and that made us feel like home. Keep up the good work!
