Wanting some French food, but was not keen on going into the city. Went onto google, and stumbled onto deux soeurs, and thought I’d give it a try. Glad I did. This restaurant blew me away. The food was super delicious, well presented and of a very high quality. The service was A+++. It was an amazing experience and I’m definitely coming back. Highly recommended!!!!

It was one of the best neighbourhood restaurants I have had. For the quality of the food, their price point is worth it. My wife and I both had a three course meal. I really liked the scallops it is visually appealing and also taste very good. I normally don’t eat mushrooms, but for the steak, the mushroom was so good I wanted to ask for more. The staffs were very friendly as well. A very pleasant experience overall.

Great food. Liked the soup, French onion. Very generous with bread and butter q which went well with the soup. My 16 yo, tried escargot. All the food was very delicious. Great to find this French restaurant so close to home

Would have given 5 stars, but I like cheesy toast on my onion soup. It just wasn’t cheesy. The soup was nice but a bit heavy. My steak was excellent, perfectly cooked. Lovely fries. Cream brulee was lovely.

What a fabulous find in Bayside. White table cloths, bread basket on arrival, fabulous French wine in a warm and inviting dining room. The service was brilliant, attention to detail I have not seen in even some of the high end restaurants. My husband asked for a glass of ice (he and my son like their water super cold) and when the waitress noticed it was empty out came another to our wonderful surprise. This restaurant just kept delivering on all levels followed by flavoursome authentic meals cooked perfectly. In a very friendly manner top service and class all the way. Our 8 year old passed on the kids menu and enjoyed the flavours of real French cuisine. We all had entrees, mains and desert and each dish was impeccable in presentation and taste. This is now our favourite and have been raving about it all weekend to family and friends. Cannot wait to be back!! Last thing – the background music was also relaxing and elegant. Perfect evening. Compliments to the Chef and thank you to the wonderful Staff that delivered brilliant service with a smile.

From someone who tends to eat in the city. Finding a place locally with good food can be challenging, especially if you’re a food snob. Read the reviews and honestly never heard of this place. Booked it for 4 mothers and can I say, this place should be spoken about more. The food was delicious, we only had one 2 course and everything was tasty, portions were perfect, mix of meat and veggies were on point. I ordered the special, slow cooked lamb shank. If I had to give one negative it was it needed slightly more sauce. But wow… then dessert Creme Brulee was sooo good. I will be visiting this place again. If you haven’t been here and live nearby, you have to go. Enjoy, I know we did.
