An excellent restaurant! A little unexpected. Food quality is wonderful and the menu very interesting – definitely not standard fare. Don’t be put off, this is a place which fits with a lot of the best that the Mornington Peninsula region has to offer in quality dining. Very highly recommended.

Great experience. It’s a little hidden gem that’s tucked away! Great view on a nice night. Our meals were great and our service was great, although I did notice that most people that sat outside didn’t get great service. Try the chips, they’re super crispy and the lamb is very tender!

The restaurant is placed at the start of an inlet with plenty of parking. We went on a bleak day and the views were still amazing. The food here is perfect, we couldn’t fault anything. There are a few interesting dishes that we will need to come back and try. The staff were very professional too.

Had lunch with the Capt’n today. 5 of us sharing the Capt’ns platters. Beautiful food and great wine, lovely weather certainly helped. Not for the customer who want a cheap pub meal, but seems good value for the quality of the food.
