Food was delicious, and servings enormous at a below average cost. Vegetables all looked delicious and not overcooked as often happens in this type of business. This place is so homely and food is really heartwarming and yummy. The lamb is a must and the sides served with it was so good(scalloped potatoes, peas, cauliflower, potato, roast pumpkin, carrots). Roast chicken also very good. The crowd comes and goes but it seems to be popular with locals. Price is very reasonable for such quality food.

Only a small place, you can’t really call it a restaurant! But the food! We ate there twice, ( you can eat in or take away- we ate in )we had Lamb both times. I had a large and my wife a medium. These are fixed meals, though they allow you to change veggies one for the other. The meals were large but with a request for extra gravy! Very nice indeed.

I like to get a large Roast pork dinner every now and then. It feeds my niece and myself and usually we have a bit left over. The meal is lovely and it’s good when I just can’t be bothered cooking every now and then. A big thumbs up from me.

For what you pay, the servings are small and the quality is very hit and miss. Was really looking forward to my scalloped potatoes, until I was given this watery mess. I didn’t see a person working in the store who looked over the age of 20. My can of soft drink was also flat. You can get better in Ballarat. More competition around now, so hopefully this place lifts their game.
