In Mount Gambier for a work trip and on my day off decided to go to a cafe, google gave me this one and I couldn’t be happier with it, the sourdough melt I got, CROQUE MONSIEUR, was incredible, and I also got a strawberry milkshake which went amazing with the melt.

We just dropped in for a coffee and the service was so friendly. There was a fabulous selection of cakes but we chose melting moments which were to die for. And the coffee was one of the best I’ve ever had. A beautifully decorated cafe with relaxing music and gorgeous plants. A choice of indoor, front or back seating is available. Some quirky little gifts are also available. Thank you.

Coffee and cake at Confession. A quiet little space in the corner, out the back, we do have these beautiful moments when you go to Confession! in Commercial St. Mount Gambier

No not happy at all ..first hot chocolate tasted like weak chocolatey water ..i took it back and she made a second hot drink that i only drank half …it was just horrible ..you can see by the colors of the hot chocolates 1 is just dull dark the other has a lighter color hence the slight more milk …i get coffee is made from water and half milk but i always believed hot chocolates are made from milk only ..like full cup of milk …i paid $6.00 for a cup of hot water with a splash of milk ..they used the excuse they need hot water to dissolve the chocolate ..but isnt milk hot too !! Wont hot milk dissolve the chocolate ..i just do not get it …very dissappointed ..the apricot slice was the only thing that was enjoyable

They have beautiful coffee and pastries . Also design is really good and classic as well. I haven’t had a chance to eat any breakfast or brunch in this cafe unfortunately but could managed to have coffee and pastries which had satisfaction.

Amazing coffee, amazing atmosphere and the fragrance just made me feel like I’m in a spa centre. Staffs are friendly and efficient, they also have very good selection of pots and decorations. Highly recommended.

Coffee was soooo good. Toasties were divine. Lovely little nook in the centre of town. I’d put this on my list again – highly recommended.

Such beautifully smooth coffee ☕️. Perfect Every Single Time. ‘Bear and the Beard’ is the quirky named but quality roasted beans. All the staff are very friendly and can make great recommendations to suit VG and GF dietary needs. Confessions specialises in sourdough melts and has staples such as Reuben, Croque Monsiuer, Cuban and Verdura. Theirs usually a pot if wholesome soup on the go as well as sweet treats. The ambience is unique and the business supports local artists with a community gallery. BTW one of the best bathrooms you will find anywhere !!!

This shop is very modern and attracts crowds of all ages. It’s a perfect additions to Mount Gambier’s rapidly growing coffee culture and I’m here for it. There are syrups and alternative milks to choose from. At the back, I love how art is displayed and you can buy different little creations. You can also buy beans and ground coffee from Seven Miles, and that includes decaf. This place is cosy, and the coffee and snacks are of course fantastic! Definitely a coffee spot worth checking out.
