I go to the co op quite regularly and usually get fresh fish crumbed. Today for the first time I was charged 6.00 each . So 18.00 for 3 small bits of fish. The price for the mullet is 12.00 a kilo . My fish was less than half a kilo . I have never been charged to have it crumbed at yamba or maclean. Not happy

If I could score less, I would. Non existent customer service. Went into this shop at 2pm today to order lunch. 3 staff and no customers. No ‘hello’ or ‘we’ll be with you in a minute’, not a word to us, just talking to each other and avoiding eye contact. A couple of women arrived a minute after us and looked at the fresh fish. They were served immediately by one of the staff while the others kept talking right in front of us. Maybe you have to be local to be served.

i came into this place 2 minutes before closing and they very kindly made me some calamari and chips! they even added three extra calamari rings and a generous amount of lemon (just as i wanted!) the staff was super nice and the food was delicious, thank you! would reccomend and will come again

Such a great place to stop. So close to the hiway for a lunch stop or to pickup, my favourite, the river prawns and enjoy with fresh baked bread when we get home. So good!

Nice little fish & chips shop across the road from the Clarence River. Staff were nice & friendly with quick efficient service, prices are relatively cheap & the food was lovely! I especially recommend the “home made” coconut prawns – amazing!

Had some great fish and chips! Perfectly cooked and nice outdoor setting to enjoy them with family while the sun was setting. Staff were smiling, happy and provided great service. All seafood is Aussie sourced and fresh and there’s a good selection, all at fair and reasonable cost.
