Went to this place for brekkie as the place around the corner was packed. Wasn’t expecting too much as the place was modest and unassuming. However, the food was excellent! The vegan brekkie was fantastic with house made beans and a very large portion. My husband had the pancakes and said they were the best he had ever had. The coffee was a bit average, which is the only reason I’ve not given a 5 star rating. Quick service and value for money.

Came with my friend. She had a eggplant sandwich or something idk, as if that’s what a person orders at a cafe. Anyway I had the vanilla slice. It was good value for its size, but it’s pastry had gone very soft from sitting around for too long. Still her sandwich was ok I think, so whatever.

I’ve eaten twice at Ciao in the last month during separate business trips from interstate and love the food and coffee. The eggs benedict is delicious with great rich yolks and very tasty hollandaise sauce. Recommended!
