Visited here just walking off the street and thought it might be good. It was great, staff were friendly and quick to serve. Food was delicious, quick to come out and great value for money to portion size. We ordered chicken pad Thai, crispy chicken and rice, chicken satay skewers, fried anchovies and vegetable spring rolls. Super full and super happy with with the whole experience. Would definitely eat here again!

This is not our first time eating there but we felt the quality overall was average and worse than last time. We booked a table outside and we asked to have the heater on, which they did turn on. We got the squid tentacles that were full of oil (quite old), and the spring rolls (were ok); as mains we ordered the shaking beef fried rice and seafood pad Thai. Both of them are quite large but not like they used to be in terms of taste. It used to be nicer and more delicious. It’s a byo restaurant and if you eat outside you have to order at the counter inside and pay each time you want to order something.

If you like Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place should not be missed. The pho and broken rice are amazing. The lemongrass chicken and rice is good too. Customer service is efficient.

Been here twice #Chopsticks Viet Restaurant – first with a Vietnamese friend and was really impressed with the fresh flavour, ingredients, portion sizes and value for money – under $20 a dish! Second time I took my Singaporean Chinese friend & we enjoyed the beef noodle soup, Tom Yum soup & yummy Thai sweet . This place is rightfully packed out on Friday & Saturday evenings.

I cannot stop think about the grilled fish with rice noodle. So yummy … it’s the one of my favourite food in Perth now. The rest, prawn, Wagyu beef and crust chicken with fried rice are also delicious too. Still Grilled Fish is my no.1 choice at Chopsticks will come back again.

As a vietnamese i find this place serves the best phở in perth. It is 90% similar to what i had in vietnam but if they had the trà đá (iced tea leaves) and húng quế (basil) to have with then it would be 100% perfect. The broth was so flavourful and balanced and the beef slice was super tender and fatty which I was very impressed. It was a huge bowl of soup and the price came out at 13.50au, a great value for money.

Great atmosphere, good dining area and seatings, cannot fault the service. Food was average, nothing of the ‘WOW’ factor for Vietnamese food in Perth. Every dishes are too lightly seasoned except for the Kang Kong which was a bit too salty. Shaking beef and chopsticks fried rice were 2 of the better tasting dishes out of everything we’ve ordered. Jelly fish was very disappointing, they’ve bulked up the dish with lots of vegetables and chicken underneath and only less than 10% of the dish is composed of jelly fish sitting on the top. Although not a bad place to dine especially when dining as a big group since the place is quite spacious but I’ve definitely had better Vietnamese food elsewhere in Perth, just depends on how far you are willing to travel.
