Consistently good fish and chips. A cut above any corner store, probably even better than Mures in town. We usually get the calamari and the kids meals (best home-made chicken nuggets ever).

Seems like the quality here has dropped after the pandemic. I wonder if it’s changed management. The crumbed scallops sold used to be sea scallops (large) without the roe, but now they’re using bay scallops (small) with roe. Fish and calamari though not stale is definitely not as fresh. So if you’re just looking to settle a little fish and chips craving, it’ll do the job. There’s free parking. Very casual indoor dining space available.

Its cheap and it’s edible. It’s not the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and their chips are hit and miss. The fish is normally nice. It’s not expensive and the serving sizes are good. The staff are polite although not overly friendly but they are efficient. They share a building with Praties so if someone in your group doesn’t like fish, they have another option.

Always good food here. A little bit pricey for what it is, but worth it in my opinion. I always call in here when back in Tassie. Staff are friendly and wait time is never too long. Recommend.

They have really gone downhill, initially you got a good sized piece of fish and a good amount of scallops, but now the box is full of disguising chips (which you do not ask for) tiny amount of whatever you actually ordered on top and the tartare sauce is runny and sweetened, yuk. Too expensive for what you get, never wasting money there again

Friendly helpful staff. Food delicious, not greasy. Tartare sauce, yum. Only criticisum, should have 2 pieces of lemon for 2 pieces of fish. Tempura mushrooms are excellent. Beer batter so good. Easy to park and access building.
