They sell 100 things here from old-fashioned milk bar food to turkish bread meat and salad rolls to cartons of Bundaberg drinks to honey. Anyway, I am here to rave about the milk shakes, specifically a caramel malted. They actually put ice cream in the mix, well soft-serve in fact, and they are super. Young servers who make up for their lack of street smarts with enthusiasm and friendliness. Try the milk shake.

Best service in Mullumbimby!!! You can walk in and buy ready made food or order from the menu. Everything is cook perfectly yet half the price of anything else in town. Only problem is the chicken bites, seafood baskets and iced coffees with iced cream are quite addictive! I also love that they employ the local youth, supporting the community!

This is my favourite shop in the northern rivers. Not just Mullum. The most affordable too. In Byron they charge $50 for fish and chips. Yeah. Yes the staff are young and take 2 mins to acknowledge your presence when you go to order. But I still love it. But for the love of god!!! Please put more salt on my food. One Karen complains and all the normal people have to suffer. I keep saying to the kids behind the counter-pls put lots on, I can’t taste it at all. I want my chips looking yellow please. The potato scollops are the best thing to get there. The owner is absolutely lovely and generous as well.

Been going to the Chinny shop for close to 25 yrs, it use to be an awesome shop first to open in Mullum, always happy service . But the kids they have work in there these days are so unbelievably rude and arrogant….fat boy with blond hair shouldn’t have a job
