The wife wanted to try it out for her birthday and it was not a bad place. The dining room was pretty quiet however it was Monday. The service was great, the staff was super friendly and food was served in a reasonable time. Food was good alittle sweet for my taste but absolutely no complaints. Great little restaurant to do an intimate date night or a family dinner. Will be back

Tried here again after quite a few years. We had the mixed entree, went down well. Then ordered the honey chicken, fried rice, sizzling steak in oyster sauce, fried kway teow with prawns. I was expecting the fat, flat rice noodles that I am more familiar in association with kway teow, these were thinner rice noodles which had a chewy eat. The meal was yummy and we had eyes bigger than our bellies, so arranged take away containers. We finished the meal with deep fried ice cream (1 x Tim Tam and chocolate sauce, 1 x Malteser with caramel sauce) which somehow managed to make us feel less full than before we started eating the desserts! We did sadly, have to leave the last remnants of dessert in the bowl from fear of food coma.

So delicious! I have gone here for about 10 years now and it has progressively gotten better and better! Great value for money and they offer dine in and takeaway options for a good price. You can share meals or have individual ones which I found awesome

Most disgusting and bland Chinese I’ve ever eaten. We had honey chicken (soggy & honey sauce was terrible), satay beef that didn’t taste at all like satay more like cucumber & a noodle dish that was dry and had no flavour. Somehow even the fried rice didn’t taste nice? $90 for it to be all thrown out, just go to Golden Swan instead

Banquet is the best option, always enough to take a little home. First time I’ve tried dipping prawn crackers in sweet chilli sauce and surprised me with this game changer lol. Really enjoy eating here!

Love, love, love chef Lam’s. One of our go to’s. Chinese food is expensive in general so it’s extra special when it’s delicious and the servings are generous. The atmosphere is so relaxing with an open fire in the winter and good dinner music.
