Why didn’t I discover this place sooner??!! Peppered beef was one of the best I’ve had… LOTS of meat and veg. We will definitely be back to try a few more dishes from the menu. The young lady who served us was super friendly as well. Thank you.

Been there twice in the past few weeks. Thoroughly enjoyed each dish I tried. Definitely a new favourite in my family. Staff were friendly and accommodating for my spice loving husband and picky children. Would reccomend Chef Kim to anyone looking for good Chinese food.

Have been going to Chef Kim for the better part of 9 years now. Still as good as the first time we went there, reasonable prices and large serving sizes, the honey chicken is second to none. Would highly recommend! Please never fix the door the nostalgia ☺️

Simply the best Chinese food on the coast! Chef Kim’s Satay Beef is delicious with just the perfect amount of spice & heat. It won’t kill you with chilli or pepper like some I’ve tasted. It’s my wife’s go to place for her favourite Sweet & Sour Pork too. Once tasted, never forgotten!

Inedible. Ordered for the first time from Chef Kim’s this evening. The corn and egg soup had gelatinous globs all through it. No idea what these were but they rendered the soup inedible. The stir fried vegetables with tofu was hands down one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever eaten. I could barely stomach it. Garlic sauce was actually pieces of Ginger with some strange liquidy sauce that tasted like old socks. Tofu was still partially frozen and vegetables not cooked. All of this for $36…really disappointed. Actually quite angry. How can places as poor as this even operate? Avoid…

Went here for first time to try it out. Was a young waitress. I was the only one there. Food was nice. Had the sizzling steak with side of rice and it came out quickly. Food was well seasoned and to my taste. Had to pay surcharge at end when I paid my bill. No one told me but it wasn’t much, however a bit discerning. Overall a happy experience and I would go back for more. Suitably impressed by everything for first time. Glad there is a Chinese restaurant I can go to as I am a local in Nambour.

Highly recommended – easily the best meal we’ve had up the Sunshine Coast (exceptional service too)!! We shared a vegetarian chop suey so light yet full of flavour, with veggo fried rice and wahhh that wok flavour!! Chicken and corn soup was soo hearty so yumm!! Delicious, fresh, authentic, and most importantly it tastes homecooked so you leave with a happy belly full of goodness
