The food is good, the atmosphere is below average and the service, not very good to below average I’m afraid. We visited while a lady was working the front counter and things were fine, the kitchen was full of workers and food came out relatively fast bear in mind we got in just before the dinner rush. We visited again on another day for a takeaway and the service was terrible. Some context: kitchen looked quiet, one girl at the counter and 2 gentlemen in the kitchen, I order 2 Pizzas and get told 25-30 minutes. (brilliant I think!) 40 minutes go by and I ask politely if the order will be ready soon. “5 minutes your pizza will be ready”, another 15 minutes later I am handed my pizza with not as much as a sorry for the wait or anything. So all in all I am waiting there for pretty much an hour when given the expectation of half of that time frame. If I had been told 45 minutes to an hour I would have walked away and not written this review. The restaurant had 2 customers in there but if there was a line of orders for takeaway ahead of me, give me a realistic time frame instead of leaving me in the dark and trying to avoid eye contact with me. Also, $40 for two pizzas is insane guys, please restructure your margins or at least offer better value in the form of a meal or family deal.

Cairo Cafe used to be our family favourite. Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore. It has gotten so bad, it’s become inedible. We ordered from them for dinner and our chicken was delivered in a foil wrap and was so very bad that no one ate. The chips was so stale. The meat box tasted like it was made last week. I hope they go back to what they used to be but I don’t think we will be ordering from them again any time soon.

It was me and my mom’s first time eating here last Friday. Food are delicious and affordable. We love their charcoal chicken so much that we ordered a whole chicken for takeway after dining in!

I went there with 10 other friends so I was able to try few different items from the menu. I ordered their Lamb Shank platter, and it was really good. The portion was a bit big for one; it can easily satisfy two person. The dal soup with crisp on the side was amazing. My friends tried Charcoal chicken and Shish Kebabs. They were very happy with the quality and taste. I was able taste most items from others, and I liked them too. One of my friends actually recommended this over Charcoal Chicken food chain. Their Baklava was really fresh and crispy. Very reasonable price. I definitely recommend this place and definitely visiting them again soon!!!

Our family had an early-ish dinner here tonight and beat the dinner crowd which meant shorter waiting time for our food to be served. We came here a few months ago and the place was packed so it took awhile for our orders to arrive.

Crazy busy but the food came rather quickly which was great. But the venue was freezing as the doors had to remain open due to Covid19 regulations. The spicy prawns were great and the lamb shawarma was okay. We couldn’t enjoy it as we just wanted to get out due to the cold. Will come back on a warmer time.
