We have breakfast here weekly although it is usually busy the atmosphere and friendly staff always find us a table. My wife has the poached eggs with smashed avocado on the side. It’s not strictly on the menu as such but they are very accommodating. The food and coffee are consistently excellent. I have no reservations, pardon the pun in recommending Cafe Verde.

Today was the first time I visited this cafe and I was extremely impressed with Gemma’s caring service. I ordered a hot chocolate made with almond milk and she enquired as to whether I was aware that the chocolate contained some sugar, just in case I had an allergy or some problem with sugar. No-one has ever thought to ask this question before. Full marks Gemma for your caring kindness.

Food was fine. Well presented. Nice colour, texture and taste profile. There was a mixup with the juices but I just had what came as I’m not fussy. But the lemon drink was a bit sour. I’d just skip the juices next time and stick with coffee 🙂
