Started with satay chicken which was nice, quite filling and flavoursome. But then came the main, pad thai with prawns, which wasnt many and they didnt taste very nice, think needed to be cooked a bit longer. The serving size for noodles was great tho and still enjoyed it. Staff were very lovely they were under the pump because it quite busy but they did a great job still eslecially when i sat down i had a glass of cold water in ice.

The food was underwhelming. Everything was much sweeter than the Thai we usually eat. The pad thai was a hit with my kid but was not what I was expecting. Thai fried rice was unfortunately very bland with very little flavor. Even my child didn’t want to eat much of it. Entree chicken satay was cooked fine but there was no taste to the actual chicken and could only taste the peanut sauce.

As a Cairns local, I have been here, many times. The food is constantly good, and they Cafe Thailand is very accommodating for all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten, as well as diet restrictions, such as keto. Even when you ask for extra something (such as more garlic than pepper when you order the garlic and pepper ️ stir fry), they are very happy to accommodate. There is BYO as well as alcohol to purchase. The staff are always so attentive and very friendly. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Great location, Good sized portions, Delicious. For a busy restaurant service timing was good. The meals were made according to dietary/allergy needs, and they happily delivered in style . Definitely worthy of a revisit when I’m next in Cairns

The food was absolutely delicious. I got hot Thai style fried rice and it couldn’t have been any better, would have preferred it a little more spicy but still so good. Food came out quick and very hot (temp). Highly recommend
