$50 per person for two courses each, it’s very high quality and was perfect as a birthday present for my best friend. Very very enjoyable dining experience, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. Perfect place if looking for an authentic French dinner, although there was only one vegetarian main course from memory (I’m vegetarian but had the fish of the day with no regrets…)

If you are looking for an authentic French restaurant, you have to check out Bon Ap. This was my second time dining here and everyone loved it! We chose the 3 course lunch menu which is valued at $54 and it’s great value for money. All the food was delicious and full of flavour.

Rustic French Bistro in a great location. We had a table for 2 tucked away near the staircase. The food was phenomenal- we ordered the Squid & Scallops for entree; the fish of the day & mussels for mains. Everything was absolutely delicious, served in a timely manner & wonderful customer service. Looking forward to future meals at this wonderful bistro! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Cozy and delicious. Loved the homey warm decorations. Great butter! The escargots were fun to try and butter around them was scrumptious. The steak frites was amazingly juicy. Couldn’t stop eating the crème brûlée. Very well worth the price (much better value than the other restaurant with the same style menus)

Had three courses for $54 for lunch which was quite reasonable given the food portions, quality of food and taste! It’s a cute little bistro, no fuss menu, friendly staff and great for initimate to casual gatherings. They have a great drinks menu also of non alcoholic and alcoholic options. Ill be back again! Only downside was it’s difficult to find parking around the area for a weekend so be wary!

Everything about this dinner was perfect! Starting with the ambience inside the restaurant, the unique decor makes you genuinely feel like you’re in France. The staff were all lovely and attentive plus our table and seats made us feel like it was a semi private booking. We opted for the 2 course meal at $50 (bargain for a French resturant in Melbourne). We like to go for a 2 course meal but have one of us get an entree/main and the other a main/dessert and share the entree and dessert between us. Do yourself a favour and order the squid, it was cooked to perfection and the marinate and sauce were outstanding. For mains we opted for the gnocchi and beef cheek bourguignon, both dishes were perfect for a cold winters night and teleported us back to France. For dessert, creme brûlée Ofcourse with a side of long black. Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to revisit and try the whole menu. Officially my new favourite French resturant in Melbourne

It was our first French dinning. Very friendly staffs. We left a note said that it is our first wedding anniversary to our booking. They even organised a special table for us, what a surprise! Foods were amazing too. Thank you for the romantic experience. It was very special to us!
