Great food, love the pumpkin cakes. Staff were polite and patient. Place was clean. Not badly priced for a fish n chip shop in Portarlington. Give this place a go. Recommended for all.

Very disappointing from a fishing town. $2.50 scallops were battered and then not even real scallops. Punch-outs from some sort of fish. Whiting was thin, tiny and flavourless. Chips and calamari rings were the best part of the meal although the crumbs on the calamari was so spicy you couldn’t really taste what it was like.

Ordered almost $70 worth of food, the fried stuff was soggy, cold and had no salt. The fish tasted weird. We were missing half of our potato cakes and dim aims and didn’t recieve one of the pieces of fish we ordered.

Ordered food last night, the lamb souvlaki was cold and the meat very tough, also only filled just over halfway with toppings. The chips were soggy even though they were asked to be cooked extra crispy, we ordered 3 steamed dim sims and only recieved 2. The owner told the staff member who took the order ‘we don’t have time for special orders’. When we rang up to ask about the missing food and tell them the about the issues and they said ‘next time we’ll cook it properly, we didn’t miss any food in your order’. You won’t have this issue at the other fish & chip shop a few doors down, save your time and money and go elsewhere.
