Booked for lunch on a Tuesday but wasn’t busy. Staff reserved us a table on the balcony which projects into the Fitzroy River & provides a lovely view. Food was very tasty & with generous serving sizes. Our party had the prawn pizza, fish & chips & bug rolls. Meals are a cut above pub food. Quay Street has had a quality upgrade & The Boathouse is well located & a nice casual venue. Recommended.

Location is fantastic. Chicken parmigiana is average for the price. The sides of it are too crumby and tough to chew. Might not be the freshest chicken parma I have ever had. Service was alright, not the happiest bunch there.

Stopped in on a chilly winters walk for a try of the Boathouse coffee and was very happy. Good coffee and excellent service with a side of some tasty Hash Brown’s. Add to that you get some great views over the Fitzroy River.

Loved the location! Were from Melbourne and was amazed of the riverside, simply beautiful. What a place to enjoy a coffee, beer, milkshake, the list goes on. Visited for an afternoon snack and we loved it. A must to just go and relax and enjoy the area.

Had a beautiful breakfast at this establishment. Jacobi and the team looked after our family and the service was outstanding. Jacobi had a good sense of humour, cracking jokes whilst clearing our tables and taking photos for us. Also can’t go past sitting over the Fitzroy River whilst enjoying our meal.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Boathouse Rockhampton on Father’s Day for breakfast, and it was nothing short of disappointing. After patiently waiting for 50 minutes for our food, we were greeted with a burnt meal and a cold one. To top it off, the steak was off, and the fried eggs were practically raw in some parts. When we informed a staff member, they simply whisked the food away without even offering an apology. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this place based on my visit.
