I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Thoroughly enjoyed the starters, mains- even the fried rice was excellent. The Massaman Slow Cooked Wagyu with Roti was nicely done and generous in portion size. The night was finished off with Thai desserts – the warm Khanom Chan and Khanom Hua Lan treats washed down with iced Thai Milk Tea. The food is done to the standards expected at a good restaurant in Bangkok, and isn’t the watered down Anglified Thai food found in many suburban Thai restaurants. It was a nice touch on the menu listing the speculated years these dishes had originated from….โบราณ indeed ! We’ll be back. And I hope you guys will be busier.

Best foods, best cocktails, and best desserts. I don’t think I had a better dine in experience in Adelaide. The owner was really nice as well and the place had a great atmosphere. Definitely worth it and highly recommend.

Apart from the dry unbuttered brown toast and salad for breakfast? The omelet with sai oua sausage and crispy bacon was delicious. The place was empty and I doubt it will survive though. Coffee was good. Lots of hilarious spelling mistakes on the faded menu to keep me smiling too.

Tucked away in a quiet alley surrounded by office buildings, Bo Rarn (meaning ancient in Thai as its dishes claim to be inspired by recipes of hundreds of years old) is like a Thai oasis. We ordered the 12hr slow cooked wagyu beef curry and salmon curry. The beef was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth, with a key satay note; the crispy fish skin as part of the salmon curry was the absolute highlight of the dish. The fish was cooked a tad over but still ok. The sauce could be on the spicy side if you are not used to spicy food. The fragrant Jasmine rice was so fragrant and tasty. The service was very friendly, even throwing in a few minutes of free Thai lesson. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Dinner at @borarncafe: they opened not long ago, and I have to say the food is absolutely fantastic! Service was super friendly as well. During the day, they offer a Thai themed breakfast as well as a sort of an express lunch option. But for dinner, they offer a proper traditional Thai dining experience based on ancient Thai recipes. If you love good Thai food, then you should definitely try them out for dinner .

Wow!!! The BEST Thai food and restaurant I have ever been to in Australia. The most beautiful food and people. The vibe was relaxed and friendly. We were so welcomed. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music and speciality Thai jugs of drinks at the bar. The food was so authentic and completely delicious, I can’t recommend this place any higher. You won’t regret spending your money here, it’s well worth a visit if you love experiencing Thai culture.
