Some of if not the best hot chips available in Hobart (crinkle cut – the best kind), staff were friendly and quick to serve, big variety of drinks, food and snacks and on the verge of popular nut grove beach a handy find for those in need of refreshments, well done 🙂

Word on the beach was that this is was the best burger in Hobart. I’ve eaten a lotta burgers in my life, travelled the world in search of the perfect burger. I wasn’t planning on buying a burger at 10:30am last week, (as a professional I prefer my burgers in the PM), but after hearing the beach gossip I couldn’t say no.

Busy day although the wait was still longer than expected. All we had asked for was 2 bag of chips and that took about 45 minutes, people were coming in an out being served bag of chips and even more.

I’m from Los Angeles and have been to a few burger places in Hobart, but the burger at the blue strawberry was incredible. Best burger I’ve had in Australia. A hidden Hobart gem with a good name.

We ate at the blue strawberry takeaway for lunch today.I got a piece of Baraumundi Fish.It was awfull.It smelled strong tasted terrible. I took one bite and fed the rest to sea gulls.My friends got burgers they looked fine .The owners were friendly shame about the fish.
