I came here for a birthday lunch with colleagues, as it is a great local spot in Spring Hill. The food is amazing, being an authentic Japanese, the food is so fresh and tasty. The size of the dishes are incredibly large and come with a small soup and rice, with some dishes having two sushi pieces on the side also – which make for a substantial meal. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the food came very quickly.

Bishamon is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane, I use to eat here weekly when I worked in the area, unfortunately I can only get it now on the odd occasion but the food is still top notch, you are always left feeling full and satisfied. Their curry is probably the best Japanese curry I’ve had in Brisbane too. Highly recommend trying this place.

First of all, regardless of service attitude. The food itself was very stale and perhaps unclean. I’m not sure if it’s the beef or the eggs. My boyfriend and I have been having diarrhea ever since we came back from eating, even to the point of taking pills. We are very disappointed with this restaurant.

It’s the worst dining experience ever! Just ruined the first impression of Brisbane. It takes more than 20mins to be served. Seems ignore our request. Worst service!

It used to be my favourite Japanese restaurant as this was the restaurant my husband and I went for our first date. We went there again tonight and ordered some sushi rolls, the menu shows 8 pieces but we only received 6. We forgot to take photo before we ate, when I was paying the bill I told the lady that we only received 6 pieces of prawn sushi roll, my intention is to let them know what had happened so to avoid it next time, I didn’t ask for any discount, but the Japanese lady said someone must have eaten and didn’t tell me. We are 3 adults (we had Shabu Shabu unlimited set) and 3 young kids (6,3,1 year old), because the prawn sushi roll has spicy ginger in it so none of the kids had it, only my husband had 3 and my sister had 2 and we have one left. She insisted it’s impossible, well, I guess the prawn is too small to cut into 8 pieces but they don’t want to give us two prawn for the roll? I am not happy with how they responded but overall food was okay, except the sushi roll.

Pretty happy with the value of the curry-rice with pork cutlet and their agedashi tofu. The karahage were nice, but could have been softer. Will definitely go back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ awesome very tasty food remember to always make a reservation to avoid being disappointed we had over ordered not knowing the generous portions being served here and had to get a doggy bag, which is a good thing

Great service great food. My son and I both enjoyed the Sukiyaki dinner. Especially with the “Tabehoudai” menu you can eat Wagyu beef as much as you like. The whole experience was awesome. We can’t wait to go back there again. Maybe we can try their bento box for lunch next time.
