Work lunch. Quick and easy. Menu is overpriced and food is basic. Chips were soft on the inside and not well cooked at all. Burgers OK. Fresh tasting but nothing over the top. Typical of a chain style venue. Service was very average also. We have our pick of places in Newstead and will not be going back here again. Not when I compare to Milky Lane. Great bespoke burgers that Mon to Fri offer you free chips and drink as well. Better burgers, price, service and atmosphere hands down.

4.5 stars. Had a nice dinner here, and there was very little to fault. My best experience at a Betty’s yet. The burgers were made to order, and very fresh – the chicken was hot and tasty, the lettuce and tomato fresh and crispy. Buns were toasted to perfection and burgers were sauced well. The restaurant was clean, staff were friendly, and whilst it was busy there wasn’t a long wait at all. Very well priced. The only downfall was the fries, they were a bit bland, seasoning could be improved.

We enjoyed our recent experience here. Tried the new truffle burger and thought it was great. The best part of the experience was the girl that served us. She was really bubbly and attentive. Not sure what her name was, but I hope she gets shown appreciation for her efforts (we dined on Friday 7th around 6-6:30pm)
