Took the back way to Raymond Terrace on Christmas Eve and stopped here for lunch. They were smashed as so many people had the same idea. They still managed to produce very tasty fish and chips wrapped in butchers paper. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan/glittering free options. Staff were very quick while being quite hospitable and personable. Very impressive. A few tables to sit at while waiting but very definitely take away so no toilets etc. A bottle shop and grocery store across the road. Easy access for all. Very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.

I left a review 3/6 about spending $50 on food and all of it being inedible. Grey but somehow raw tasting chips, tiny scollops that were hard, burger with so much sauce it was as soggy. No salt even though we asked for extra salt. Can’t seem to find this review even though the photo of my tiny scollop is still there. It was around the same time someone else talks about them precooking things. We called the same night & they weren’t interested in replacing or refunding. Shame it’s gone down hill since the name change. Bethas was the best.
