Out last night with 8 family members. Regular visitor to this Hotel, has been good & usually reliable for a great experience but last night it was one of the best meals we all have eaten in a Pub. None of us could fault the food, the fabulous service received from young staff. The food was exceptional for vegetarians, meal eaters & pescatarians. A huge, local & international Drinks list. Renovations are tasteful & effective minimalist. Lucky being locals as we can come again & often. Thank you, we were celebrating something very special for one of us & you didn’t let us down.

The steak was burnt all over, making it not only disgusting in taste but also potentially carcinogenic. Any decent chef should be ashamed of serving burnt food. And we waited an extremely long time for our charcoal on a plate.

Great food and atmosphere attentive staff with nothing a problem. Steak was cooked to perfection exactly as I asked the Chef alone is worth 5* schnitzel was a decent size and was prepared in house instead of being brought in all in all a great meal would definitely dine again once I’m back dating.
