No trip to Busso is complete without fish and chips. Decided to try the new place and got the Snapper for 2 special. We decided on crumbed instead of batter (small extra charge which is industry standard). Not too long to wait. It was near the 8pm closing but people were coming and going. Staff were friendly.

Awesome fresh fish and crispy batter. Tried this place for the the first time today and was impressed! Chips are crispy, and batter on fish also crispy. Ordered the pensioners lunch deal which also comes with salad! Got a good meal for a bargain price. Would definitely visit again 🙂

My local fish and chip shop with new owners is awesome. Haven’t had a bad meal there yet. Ran out of Spanish macky on one occasion but the snapper was still good. Batter is light and crispy, squid rings are hand crumbed I’m pretty sure. Great work guys

Our first visit, we ordered 1 Fisherman’s basket which is enough for the 2 of us. Fish was good – had 2 pcs, squid an prawns all good. Plenty of chips, we did order an extra chip serve as were sharing the 1 basket. asked for a wedge of lemon and was given three. Staff very obliging and friendly. Tasted fresh and yummy. We will be back.

Have had a very enjoyable experience at Beach 2 Basket. Battered Gluten free fish and chips guaranteed gluten free was perfect and for my wife’s coeliac issue has past the test. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

I assume it was the owner at the front, he was really friendly and gave us a free sauce to try as per his recommendation (the comeback sauce). The batter was really well done and the snapper was nice and meaty. Really happy 🙂

I like coming here during lunch or after work. The owner is very friendly and the chips are great. The $3 minimum chips come in a package enough for 2 people which is awesome. They have my order memorised at this point The owner is often trying out something new and I enjoy helping out with taste tests too Great place to catch a bite
