First time back to Weipa in a long time and locals told me of “Barramunchies” located at Weipa Caravan Park. Best fish and chips in town they said! I checked it out as you can see and they were right! Great food and great service. Location is awesome as well, right on waterfront.

This is the most expensive and worst fish I have ever eaten. Sent it back and the replacement was as bad. Imported farmed supposedly barramundi. The batter was crunchy but very oily. Do not waste your money.

The kids that run this place do such an amazing job. An amazing selection of burgers and fish and chips style food in a dreamy location. Open from 5pm so perfect to take the kids for a play while you wait for your food! Love it!
