Only three stars because of the prices. The food was amazingly tasty and very well presented. Prices in comparison to serving sizes, and we are not big eaters, just don’t add up. Service was really good and in comparison to many other places in Perth/Fremantle area they had lot of staff. Still too expensive. Will not recommend util they level the prices.

An early (6.30pm) booking for three on a Friday night and the place was already chock full. The noise levels made it quite difficult to hear each other or our waitress, and I’d recommend turning off the music! The food was well cooked and well presented although the descriptions and combinations of ingredients were rather pretentious and just missed the ‘mark’ the chef is aiming for. However, the price was moderate and good value for money, and the service was excellent – compliments to our waitress for remembering all her training, and Barque is obviously very popular … more bookings were arriving as we left.
