Oyster Farm, Restaurant and Retail Shop. Our restaurant is open for lunch 5 days a week (closed Tuesday & Wednesday) and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Our retail shop is open 7 days 9.30am-5.00pm, stocks our fresh oysters for both eat in and take-away as well as other Tasmanian produce and products.

Sad to have missed their lunch hour at 2.30pm. Good thing we have tried their fresh oyster which they serve in their store; if you love fresh oyster, you should visit this placr when you are in Hobart. And the lady who is in the store is very helpful and courteous as well!

Their oysters are the best for me, having eaten at 5 oysters farm & seafood restaurants for oysters while in Tasmania. Went to Barilla twice for their oysters. The staff is friendly & attentive especially the supervisor who recognised us at the second visit, she served us both times.

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Couldn’t leave Tassie without trying local oysters. Got half a dozen natural oysters to dine in with local ginger beer and tried abalone for the first time. It was absolutely delicious. Prices were good, expected for fresh seafood. Clean and friendly environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

This restaurant is exceptional! The food was outstanding, and definitely worth the price you are going to pay. We ordered the spaghetti and it was delicious, ingredients were fresh. Had the abalone and salmon sashimi platter and was really fresh, can’t complain anything. If you had a chance, please order scallop in curry sauce. In summary, you won’t be disappointed by this restaurant.

Oysters are big and fresh. The whole fish is fried to perfection. Chef even put slices in the skin so when you lift the meat from the frame, it comes off in bite size pieces. The wait staff are top shelf. Food was on time and delicious.

The cold served oysters are large plump and delicious. The hot oysters are tiny, and more than half the size. They add all the sauce on top to hide how small the oysters are, and to rip you off.
