The worst thai takeaway shop in Sydney. The lady at the counter was super rude!! No customer service skills whatsoever.. I ordered chicken chilli basil and it was so tasteless.. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.

We’ve only had great experiences – have been happy with every dish. They seem to have their own delivery driver too – much better than getting everything cold via Menulog or Uber Eats! Best Thai in Lane Cove by far.

Very disappointing. Ordered beef and black bean and couldn’t taste any black bean flavour at all. Very little sauce/flavour except some garlic. Dish was 75% vegetables, of which were totally undercooked. Steamed rice was barley warm. Wouldn’t bother ordering from here again.

I went to Bangkok Bar today for the second time and I will never go back! Lady, super rude (I asked if they had laksa on lunch special)-which they didn’t. FYI small bowl combo laksa $20! I orders chicken noodle soup with veggies only had hard carrots and two bok choy leaves. The soup was luke warm so I asked her to warm it up..she pulled a face and told me to go sit down. Definitely a thumbs down from me!

BBQ chicken is not BBQ’ed, just tastes salty with no other flavour present. Thai fried rice was simply bland. Duck pancakes had so much hoisin sauce that’s all you could taste. Heck even the jasmine rice isn’t cooked properly. Their Uber Eats review score of 4.9 is surely dodgy. Should have checked here first before ordering.

Ordered takeaway from this restaurant. It was very quick, and some of our entrees were good (satay chicken and prawn spring rolls). However some weren’t great, and the mains lacked any flavour and were very sweet. Didn’t bother keeping the left overs.

Just picked up takeaway for chilli basil chicken & rice & padthai chicken, as a Thai, this place is good. I think some negative comments came from ppl ordering chinese food such as black bean stir fry which doesnt exist in thailand. The price was good as well. So glad I have found a place that can cook authentic Thai food.
