Without a doubt the best bakery in Cairns with the friendliest service you could ever ask for . I tried them for the first time a couple of weeks ago as I was passing through, since then I have driven from the Northern Beaches to Edmonton (56km return trip) for the past 2 Saturdays just for their pies. I can now say I have tried every pie and not one has disappointed me. My wife and Mother in law smile every time I come home with their pies, plus thier chocolate fudge brownies are absolute heaven. Please do not change a thing and I will see you all again next Saturday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND……

Great bread and pastries, so handy having Banjos just a short walk from my house. Just one thing to mention, I was served by a man that called me “Darlin” at least 5 times while serving me. I don’t think it’s very appropriate; I hope it doesn’t happen again. It’s a shame to ruin the image of such a great bakery

We work from home in Cairns North and drove to Banjos in Edmonton today for their fine coffee, pies and superb blueberry tarts. This will now be our regular treat…thanks for the friendly service and great products. Definitely worth the drive.

The products in the bakery are what makes it so good the coffee does need attention but most I believe buy next door and bring it over to eat with a bakery item we now know why. The downside we found was overflowing bins and dirty tables which when there was a maximum of 3 tables us being one of them is disappointing. The scallop pie would be a definite 10 with a mornay sauce but I would still give it an 8.5 overall great products
