Stopped by on a Sunday and did enjoy our time. The staff were friendly and the coffee was great. Portions were great etc. But the issue for me was my food. I got the corn fritters and was quite disappointed. They were a huge mushy mess & really really bland. Barely seasoned and they needed a chutney or something to go with them to give it a bit of flavour and tang.

Today I ordered a takeaway Iced long black. I paid $8.25. I cannot believe the money gouging for two shots of coffee over ice is this much, absolutely unacceptable. Had I known the price before I paid I would have gone elsewhere or just ordered a hot coffee which have normal prices. I understand if it was an iced coffee with more products like cream, ice cream, dairy-free milk or other products like syrups, but for 2-3 shots of coffee in a cup with ice and water? That’s astonishing. I double checked and asked if that was correct (I didn’t realise until after I tapped my card) and the lady serving me was just like yeah we also charge a weekend 10% surcharge on top of the tap and pay surcharge. It’s getting ridiculous. I understand if it was $8.25 with a cookie or something but just for one simple iced long black? I’m in so much shock.

Sadly I can’t say I would recommend this place as there was just nothing exciting about it. The staff were polite but seemed inexperienced as there was no personality or conversation or questions about how we were going. The food was very basic for the price and additional weekend surcharge which was disappointing. Also the online menu was different to what was being served. Would recommend heating inside as the door was left open which made the food get cold really quickly and made a less comfortable experience. Also no bathrooms on site as we were told the nearest was the pub nearby and therefore left our visit short.
