Denise and Steve, the owners of Anchors are lovely, passionate, and have a terrific, friendly, welcoming nature and it flows to all of their staff. The service is truly 5 star. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the view and the location are relaxing.

Staff managed both our large dinner booking, as well as breakfast the next day, extremely well. Food arrived in a reasonable time, and everyone was happy with their dishes. I had the beef rib for dinner which was tender and delicious, and with the accompaniments I could barely finish it all.

If you are thinking of stopping for breakfast at Coffs Harbour, DON,T!!! Just 20km south of Coffs Harbour is Urunga. And it hiding the best kept secret. Anchors Wharf! We stopped there for breakfast and I have not had better. As we walked in we were greeted by the Owner. She was lovely. We had our beagle “Benny Buttons” with us and they were quickly able to accommodate us. She even gave him a “pupa-ccino”. Sitting overlooking the river was so relaxing in the morning. A great setting and great start to the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and there was nothing that was too much trouble. The food exquisite! They also do lunch and dinner as well.
