Come on man, that ramen was below average. Can’t even tell if it’s tonkotsu, shoyu, miso, or whatever. Then their signature ramen comes with leftover pork from last week, it’s been kept in the fridge and served cold that it brings the entire soup’s temperature down. The pork has a sweet marinade that it’s not supposed to have. The egg was looked like it was broken up by hand, you don’t have a knife back there in the kitchen? I didn’t order anything else because if you can’t even get your signature dish right, what else is there to expect from everything else on the menu. I suggest you don’t eat here. Unless they make drastic changes to get the food quality up to scratch, then they just better close up shop.

Used to visit Ajisen Ramen a lot before all the lockdowns in Melbourne. Great food at affordable prices! My favourite dish is the Tori Karaage Chahan (rice with deep fried chicken pieces) as you can tell by the photos haha! The ramen is also exceptionally good, but unfortunately don’t have any pictures to share. Also shoutout to the lemonade floats – they’re so good!
