We can’t give this place a proper rating because we were just experimenting and wanting to try traditional African food for the first time.

Ordered food through Ubereats, arrived hot and neatly packed. First time trying African food, and I will be back! I got the beef stew and corn fufu. It was very spicy and flavourful! Decent amount of meat in it too.

Food and service were both absolutely incredible. The staff are so kind and were incredibly accommodating of my dietary requirements. The food was prepared very quickly without any sacrifice to it’s quality. Easily the best thing I’ve eaten both times I’ve been here, and I cannot wait to order again. I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing and high quality food! Everything we’ve ordered here has been lovely but I would definitely recommend the Waakye (Rice and Beans) with Vegetarian Tomato Stew. The chef is so lovely and attentive too! We live quite far away but it’s definitely worth the travel

Soooo delicious. For something so exotic it tastes so homely! Tried the chicken stew and beef stew. Chicken stew is perfect for those who aren’t fans of heat. Beef stew is just right! Enough spice to amp the taste but not to make you sweat. The corn fufu was like a stiff mash and perfect pair with the stew. The bowls on the tables to wash the hands with were great. Thank you for the lovely meal!

Delicious west African food in the Ipswich region The chicken stew (African casserole/curry) was super tasty and I enjoyed it with a plantain fufu. I’m looking forward to my next experience there. The menu doesn’t list gluten free items but chat with the staff for assistance as it seems that there is minimal to no wheat used in this cuisine. Being strictly gluten free, I had no issue with the dishes I ate.

Fabulous food and great value. Fantastic service explaining all dishes and providing recommendations. The restaurant is in a mid sized strip shopping centre, super clean, bottle shop next door (though the restaurant is awaiting BYO licence), simple and welcoming set up with gorgeous images from Africa. We loved our tilapia, chicken jolla, and delicious Ghanian chai-style milk drink (yes, Jasmine it’s better than chai!). We’ll definitely be back – need to try the pies and shawarma, along with many other menu items. Highest recommendation.
