This place was about a block from our accommodation and decided to give it a go. Even though it was cold and windy, the lovely staff turned on the heaters. The food came out fast and hot and delicious. We got wonderful advice on dish choices and universally loved all we ordered. Reasonable in price and fantastic service! Recommend the butter chicken and prawn korma and of course the garlic naan is a must!

the food was so good but not only that the service was also amazing. One of the owners (lady) was so sweet. She recommended us the right amount of food (so that no food goes to waste, but the right amount that we could actually enjoy). I could actually vouch that this was one of the best Indian restaurants i have tried in Melbourne.

Best Indian we have had! We had dinner here for our anniversary, the food was amazing, I made the last minute decision to order a garlic naan and I am so glad I did! The garlic naan is AMAZING. The lovely lady that serves here is also very accomodating, she made us feel so welcome. The pricing was great also for us as we couldn’t decide and had to order so much! So many tasty options we will definitely be back to try some more next time we visit Melbourne!

A great place to have authentic indian food. Very friendly hostess who gave good recommendations to accomodate everyone’s different level of spiciness. A wide variety on the menu to satisfy everyone’s craving. Had a special request for beverage off the menu and they kindly accomodated to us. A must visit! Also situated very strategically by Queen Victoria Market! Outdoor sitting with a good heating system available.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The variety and quality of dishes, including the shrimp korma, butter chicken, and mango/pistachio kulfi, were outstanding. The plain naan was the perfect accompaniment. The customer service was flawless – attentive, friendly, and prompt. The owner, a wonderful lady, added a personal touch with her warm and friendly demeanor. The restaurant’s location was convenient, making it an even better choice. I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try; it truly deserves an A+ rating!

Perfect place to go before or after doing your shopping at queen vic market! Tried some onion bhaji, garlic naan, lamb biryani and tawa paneer masala (not pictured) and everything was perfect! The lamb was incredibly tender and garlic naan was a must try. Onion bhaji was surprisingly good and the sauce was just a perfect addition to it. The owner was lovely and turns out this is a family owned business (we love that)! There’s plenty of outdoor seating available and heater can always be turned on (perfect for melb winter).
