The combination of taste is excellent as it wraps the meat broth and chewy noodles. The amount of noodles is also abundant, ensuring a satisfactory meal. Vegetable steamed dumplings preserve the original taste and was excellent. Combining them with noodles soup can create a harmonious and enjoyable dining experience.

Am glad that a Lanzhou beef noodle place has open in the city centre. The restaurant is quite casual, with a canteen style way of operating, so it can get a little hectic during peak times. The beef noodle broth was tasty and portions were fine, however the noodles were slightly under cooked. The dumplings were good value for money too. I’d recommend getting one of the combos with side dishes or drink. Overall a good casual spot for a quick meal.

I have been to another 1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle in a different state and tasted similar but I can tell slight difference. Pretty good beef noodle soup and always satisfying. One negative thing is noodle seems too flour taste.

My fave noodle place opened up in Canberra and I couldn’t be happier! Don’t let the lines turn you off a spectacular experience. The original beef noodles are my recommendation, so moreish and packed with tons of flavour without feeling too heavy. The dumplings here are very good too, could honestly give my dad a run for his money.
