This restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience, both inside & outdoors, spacious seating, full coverage over head from the sun & delicious food. We appreciate the excellent service and attention to detail with our choices for lunch, including towlette and finger bowl. It is a lovely setting and place to celebrate any occasion.

Great view across the Bay. No space left outside, should have booked, just as nice inside. Service was impeccable, lovely, just attentive enough, not intrusive. Our meals were great . Oysters, lobster slider, mussels….all so good.

We have been to 1802 every year for the past 4 years on the new years week and every time they have been amazing. The service is impeccable and all the staff know what they are doing, and the food is absolutely divine . Our waiter was so friendly and helpful, he even told us about a few of the best surf spots around Coffin bay! Can’t wait to go back next year !

This place was fantastic. The setting is excellent, the staff were attentive and that is to say nothing of the food. The pineapple oyster accompaniment was our favourite but all were very good. The main portion sizes were very generous. The dessert was a little underwhelming but would still give it 5 stars based on everything else. We will definitely be back on our next Eyre Peninsula trip.
