I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. My partner and I used to go weekly when we worked in the city. Over time this place gained so much popularity and it makes so much sense. The food, service and atmosphere is impeccable.

A renowned Korean barbecue restaurant located near Queen Victoria Market. It has many customers, so it’s recommended to make a reservation in advance. The staff provides friendly and attentive service. The meat is also fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Having been years ago, I’m honestly disappointed with our recent visit. Visited on a Sunday night in August 2023. Food portions were normal but obviously pricing had increased. Where years ago we found it good value, it is now pricey. Can’t fault the meat or the service though. Loved the corn and cheese you get free but the rice cakes are utter fail.

Delicious! The flavour of the meat was absolutely beautiful and the portions of meat and hot pot of the set menu was perfect for our group of 6.

Absolutely fantastic !!! Nothing could of been better about this place. Some of the pricing is high end maybe make the standard stuff a tiny bit cheaper and keep the high end stuff the same price. But apart from that the food was amazing highly recommend the wagyu platter it was absolutely insane. Just yummy. Don’t over cook it tho it will ruin it. Highly recommend being careful with the soju it will sneak up on you.

We came here on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy, despite there having a lot of customers, staff were very attentive and cooked our meat at the table for us.

Delicious marinated meats cooked over charcoal, awesome stoned cooked bibimba with a crunchy rice base, very attentive service staff, tasty complementary side dishes that get refilled as soon as the bowl is empty…. Yeonga is the Korean BBQ we’ve been looking for in Melbourne. All the family agreed we are definitely coming back!

We had the marinated set plus the wagyu chuck tail. Absolutely worth their prices with such high quality of meat. The complimentary stew comes with the set may seem small, but it is loaded with lots of meat and veggies, and the spiciness is just right!

Entrance, tables, and seating was nice. I think my biggest issue is that the tables are way too small… We had a hard time trying to fit everything in the table once everything came out so I deducted a star for that. Also… Our waitress used the same tongs she touched rare chicken and immediately right after moved our other cooked meats to the side. My cousin noticed that instantly and as a precaution, moved it back in to cook for a little longer. Other than these two, the food was good and we had a good time. It was pretty expensive though for two people (A$135) but we did order a lot of food so makes sense.
